Venue
The Latsis Symposium will take place in the main building of the ETH, in the Audimax HG F 30, Rämistrasse 101 in Zurich. However, all sessions will also be live streamed and recorded to allow for wider participation.

Directions
By walking
The main building of ETH Zurich is centrally located and in walking distance from the main railway station ZURICH HAUPTBAHNHOF (HB). It is about a 10-15 minutes walk (700 m) to ETH, mainly uphill.
By using the funicular Polybahn
Another way to reach the main building of ETH usually is to take the funicular Polybahn. Unfortunately the Polybahn has been under renovation since May and will be running again from mid-September.
By using public transport (tram)
From the main railway station
Take either tram no. 6 towards ZOO or tram no. 10 towards ZURICH FLUGHAFEN until you reach ETH/Universitätsspital stop. Travelling time is around 6-8 minutes.
From the airport
Take tram no. 10 towards ZURICH HAUPTBAHNHOF/HB until you reach the stop ETH/Universitätsspital. 1 minute walk to the ETH main building. Travelling time is around 30 minutes.
Tickets
Tickets are available at the blue ticket machine located at the tram stop. Tickets have to be purchased before boarding.
You might either purchase a external pagesingle ticket (1-2 Zones within the city of Zurich zone 110, adult CHF 4.40) or a external pageday ticket (24 hours free ride) within zone 110, city of Zurich (CHF 8.80) or a external pageZurich Card for 24/72 hours.
From Zurich airport you'll need a single ticket of 3 Zones (CHF 6.80).
